There is a great and very compelling body of work created by an organization called Strong towns, who have produced books and videos on the right and wrong ways to plan our cities.
It is the kind of thing that once you see it, you cant un-see the mistakes we have made in urban planning, not just in Davis but across North America.
We highly recommend this series of videos as an introduction to the Strong Towns concepts and urban planning issues in general. We hope you will watch this playlist and then start looking for the other great invormation on city planning that is out there. You will never look at our city the same way again
